Really?! Your profile lists your location as Baton Rouge. Wish I had known - we could have used local guidance on our trip.

I think we are the first group ever to request a refund from the infamous Billy Bob's. There were about 4,500 in attendance, most of whom looked to be about 15 years old. We never even got close to the bull. : (

What a great town to call home, with real live cowboys, great mexican food and two steppin' that made us dizzy and envious to watch. We were fascinated and mesmerized by it all.

When I grow up, I want to be a Texan.

  3. Being a texan is awesome...they brainwash you at a young age to love it so much. We moved here when I was six, I went to LSU in 2004 but quit my job and have been back since my mom's surgery. My dad died in 2005 and my sisters and I all agreed to move into the house until my little brother graduates from high school. Imagine it..."Party of Seven: three sisters, one brother, two babies and a brother-in-law". Reality show anyone?

So as of current, all of my early possesions still remain in my apt in baton rouge...it will be my saddest day emptying out my little home.

oh and p.s....my sisters have begun spending their work days secretly reading your blog at their desks....

The resilience of your family is admirable. So much heartache endured at a young age, yet still you keep your sharp wit and joy.

You must be made of good stuff.

I hope you make it back to Baton Rouge. Your potential is obvious.

    Praying for your family.
